I've decided to end Webcomicfan.com. Ever since I started this site, I've felt a struggle between devoting time to it and devoting time to other things in my life. Since the "other things" included my family and my job, very often the website lost the fight. And, sometimes, the website won the fight and I would feel guilty about it. When I first started reading webcomics, it was very frustrating because there were hundreds of webcomics, but no good review sites to help you find the gems. So I decided to create one myself. Since then, a number of others have popped up, run by people with more time and the benefit of staff to help keep their sites up-to-date. Which means that Webcomicfan.com was no longer the urgent matter it once was. So, I'm ending it. Not permanently, though. At least, I hope not. We'll see. - Ravenswood ![]() Here's a few other sites that review webcomics: Comixpedia - Webcomics news. Modern Humor Authority - The only truly honest review site on the internet. Webcomics Examiner - Webcomics critiques and essays. Webcomic Book Club - The thing I like about this site is that they'll have several people review the same comic, so you get several different points of view. One nice feature is that if you find a reviewer you like, you can click on his/her name and get a page of all of their reviews. And here's a couple of sites that list webcomics: Belfry Webcomics Index - No reviews, just a listing of nearly every single webcomic in existance. Man, there's a lot of them. Comixpedia.org - The encyclopedia of webcomics. |
